Bonapart's Gull at the pier in Blaine

Winter in the Pacific northwest has its challenges as most days are not photo days. Decided to go out anyway and do some action shots of the Gulls at the pier at Blaine. Cloudy windy, cold 38 degrees and sun low on the horizon. A good practice day. Next time.

Very nice Roger, nice to see a different gull and you managed to get a good shot of it as well.

Really cool markings on this gull - not one I think I have seen before although I am at the far south end of the state. Both are nice captures of it.

These look great! What a super cool looking gull. They look so much better then our boring seagulls in California. I wish ours looked this cool.

Nice images Roger. Been keeping my eye out for these gulls in Old Town Tacoma.
