It’s happening right now in the eastern Sierra. It covers part of the bottom left side of the sun. The light outside is slightly different.

Well, I was unmotivated to drive the 50 miles to Monticello for 100% coverage because of all the people converging here and fortunately
had the luxury of shooting it, some birds, and deer in my back yard. The critters actually thought it was bedtime as roosters started crowing, and then it got real quiet....

I used a 10x Tiffin variable neutral density filter which, in the end screwed up the images. Not the highest quality filter either. I think light was bouncing around in that particular filter... I'll edit later for my permanent stuff...

Those are cool Craig! I like the shadow!

And yeah, it looks like the VND had some issues. But it's still pretty cool.
