NGC3324 (Gabriela Mistral Nebula) with Neighbours

I was surprised by a sudden clear night the other evening so I set up the telescope and aimed it at this corner of the Carina constellation. The object in the centre is the NGC3324 nebula, also known as the Gabriela Mistral nebula, since it sort of resembles the profile of that Chilean Nobel-Prize-winning poet. There is also the Gem Cluster to its left, and all sorts of other bits and bobs. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks, Jim. I had thought of writing to the International Astronomical Union to suggest changing the common name of this region to the Bits and Bobs Nebula, but never got around to it. ;-)
