Pismo Splash

One of my favorite areas along the central coast of California is Pismo Beach. The tide was incoming at Sunset, but low enough still that I could work my way to several of the sea caves in that area without getting wet above my waist. This was a cool area in between a couple of the sea caves.

I like the effect of the shutter speed you used here - kind of a goldilocks sweet spot of not too fast and not too slow. Nice scene.

Ha ha, thanks Ryan! I do my best to scout the water and the waves as I move around in it. I also have a little rain jacket for my camera to keep the splashes off the body and lens. And despite getting into locations where it's wet, I do have a healthy caution too ever since my D700 decided to go swimming some years ago.
