Hey Stephen,

Very nice shots indeed here. #2 and 5 really stand out to me, but they are all very nice. You got some great light here.

Some very nice light for a beautiful place. I like #2, 4, and 5 out of the set the best although they all work quite well. The only thing wrong with #1 and #3 is that they are side by side with the other 3 :)

My favorite of the bunch is number 2 as I like the reflection off the water of the pink clouds. I had not seen that before and it did not last long. As for the other shots of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio, was just glad to have clear atmosphere and was glad I brought my Leica R 180/2.8. Some don’t like to take such a long telephoto when traveling, but I find it invaluable for shots like these.

You sure worked the 180mm well, and yeah, I think most people take wider lenses when traveling, especially to cities, but you demonstrate very well how a longer lens can be put to good use.
