That's some very cool ice cracks Oliver! I like your processing. It probably belongs in Abtract, but more people will see it here, I can move it later.
 
Am I correct in assuming that you have adjusted the color? The result is excellent.

Thank you Doug. Yes, you are quite right. I did a gradient RGB color toning, normally I wouldn't color tone nature photos, for this particular scene, an RGB hue gives a better feeling.

This is excellent! gives me a few ideas to try on some of the frozen bubble shots I have
Sunny, let's hope the part would open by the end of the month. I had to cancel my bookings of last week, it was a real bummer.

Thank you Jim. the crack pattern comes from the constant thawing & refreezing of the river, the pattern really caught my eyes.
