Beautiful display of these hawk family members Eric. I really like the curled wing tips on the Swainson's hawk - great capture of this bird in flight.

Last weekend featured a lot of freezing rain and sleet in my area and the local hummers were furiously guarding THEIR feeders against interlopers who were wishing the owners would share. This is one of the guards giving me the stink eye since I am shooting his portrait from right under HIS feeder.

That's a stunner, Roger. Highest compliments. I cannot ID the specific kite species from your shoulder. If you don't know the species, please add the location and I'll give you my best guess. Or, post your photo to iNaturalist.org for a positive ID.
Eric The photograph was taken along the California coast between Santa Cruz and Pescadero near Pigeon Point Lighthouse. I believe it is a White Tailed Kite.
