My theme for today's Winged Wednesday is birds with berries. Just outside my desk window is a pyracantha bush and the berries have ripened attracting mainly American Robins and a few Cedar Waxwings this year. I added two Phainopepla photos from the same bush 2 years ago
I hope everyone has a joyous and wonderful Holiday season.

Nice shots of the birds appreciating the berries.

We had Pyracantha bushes right outside of our classroom windows when I was in elementary school in Phoenix and as you get later into their berry season the berries would start to ferment still in the branches. Birds would eat them and get drunk and we could be entertained watching them stumble around on the window sills.
