Ok, that is different of traditional mountains, but they are still mountains.
Here is a view of "general sierra" in Santa Catarina, Brazil, one of the unique places that occurs a snow fall in our tropical country. These is a sunset on a winter day a some years ago.

Wind Rivers, Wyoming -- Deep Lake. The clouds move through so quickly, one can practically choose what they want in sun & shadow and just wait for it to happen.View attachment 3536
Hey Monika,

Wow! Love it from the Wind Rivers! This is an area I have wanted to shoot for a while, but just haven't gotten to. Lately it's been Ice Lakes Basin and the higher locations in the San Juan's in Colorado that are taking my time. But I sure need to carve out a bit of space for Wind Rivers.

Can't complain about Ice Lakes & San Juans in general! We got packed in on this trip, but when I went to Titcomb for the eclipse, I didn't decide until the last minute, so had to hump it in all by myself (well, at least my dog carried her own food!). It really made me appreciate getting packed in previously.

Packing in would be the way to go! I haven’t tried except to Havasu Falls, and it sure was nice!

For this Friday we will be focusing on Mountains. So please post a Mountain photo.

Mine is from Glacier National Park of Mt Reynolds as twilight was just fading to night.
