A Sunday Morning Panorama at the Garden

There are a lot of occasions when I set up and shoot panorama capture sequences for scenes that simply don't lend themselves to single frames. I don't take notes when I am shooting so whether I remember that I did shoot that sequence when I go to view my captures isn't always a given. This was one such pair of fall captures that has been sitting in my stash for years waiting for me to rediscover what I had done. Click through for a larger view of the scene.

Nice use of pano to showcase this. I have often run into the same issue of shooting a series with an intention of stitching it. Over the years I have developed a way of taking marker images around the sequence so I can remember what those are.

Very cool Alan! I think pano works best for this.

For a while when I used to try and shoot more pano's, I would stick my hand in front of the camera so I had a photo of my OOF hand to know that something followed. My problem was it could have been a pano, or a focus stack, or who knows...

What a wonderful place you have to shoot beautiful images.
Thanks Doug - the handiwork of some truly dedicated garden staff

Well worth the click through
Thanks Ben - that's what pano's are for.

Thanks Jameel - most of my more recent panos are all done with my 24mm TS-E so they are easier to keep tabs on. Its the older ones that never got processed that are fun to stumble across.
