I walked into our bedroom this afternoon and our two kitties were enjoying some quality time. So I went back to my office and grabbed the D300 and played around with the Lensbaby and the IR. I was able to get PS to recognize the new camera profiles I created following Amy's instructions once I found were PS was looking for them. What I found interesting, is once I did the in camera WB and used the custom profile. To get a more natural look at 470nm with a hint of IR was adjusting the WB in PS, then just run through the typical adjustments. There was no channel swap with these images.

#1 Lensbaby @f2.8, with the nice glow. I do need to find that sweet spot with this lens. My wife says, its blurry. LOL

#2 Leo, shot @f5.6.

#3 Mr. Bohanan shot @f5.6.

Cute pair and nice that they get along with each other. Great shot of Leo. I am with your wife on the Lensbaby but will admit that I have never been a fan of them.

Ha ha, you better listen to your wife... :)

My favorite is #2. It looks like fun photos in all 3, good job on grabbing your camera.

Amy has me interested in a Lens Baby too. I will have to see how much will power I have to resist it. ;)

They have their moments, but the mostly get along. Leo is the most photogenic of the two, and the most cooperative. But Mr. Bohanan is a difficult subject, but I'll keep working at it.
I am drawn to its soft glow, and mainly Amy applies it, just need to find that sweet spot.

I mostly listen to her. LOL

Thanks Jim, the portrait of Leo did turn out well and really like the sharpness and colors the Lensbaby produces.

Its going take some work, but I am glad I invested in it even though its not for everyone.
