Nice job getting the pulpit to stand out against the canyon wall behind it. That plus the greens at the bottom really make this work for me.

Thanks for your nice comments, Barry, Kyle, Ben, Jim, Jeffery, and Alan. It means a lot coming from you guys. I'm glad I joined this forum. It would be worth it just seeing your images.

Hey Doug,

Those words mean a lot. The whole point of creating this was to be able to create a fresh new experience with a core group of photographers where we can make a difference.

Forums by their very nature will have similarities, but hopefully FocalWorld can stand apart by being fresh, hopefully a little innovative, and more then anything having a collective heart where we all want to help each other grow as artists with our photography. So for me personally, I really am enjoying this, and it's really exciting to watch how people are connecting in here.

So Doug, thank you for being a part of this. It's awesome to have you.

Hey Doug,
I can't image why you missed this incredible shot. I really like the light hitting the rock. What time of day did you capture this it looks like late afternoon to me?

This was a late afternoon image. My biggest problem was to separate the Pulpit from the background rocks. I don't think I had the tools to do it in 2012 when I took it. Thanks for your comment, Bob. I'm looking for more of your images.

You should be very proud of what you have created here, Jim. I have a couple of other professional photography friends that I am going to convince to join. Keep up the good work.

How could you overlook this one Doug........great shot
Hey, Tommy. Glad to see you here. I am looking forward to seeing the images you post here. You will be a favorite in a short period of time.

As for overlooking.. we all have al done it. I didn't have the tools in 2012 to make this worth anything. Now I can separate the Pulpit from the wall.
