It's Waterfall Day - about the only event I have to remind me what day of the week it is these days

I will kick this off with a small waterway along the Oregon Coast Trail in the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. Just barely big enough to warrant a bridges I braced my tripod on the handrail shooting almost straight down for this shot. I did the same thing last fall but there wasn't a lot of water coursing between the rocks. This is from early March with a more notable flow in the stream.

My waterfalls have almost dried up but I found this from 2010, shot on an Olympus E-410 and only recently processed. It is a 2 shot vertical panoramaa and up till now the merge has not worked. Unfortunately the light was very harsh but here it is anyway. Scotland, River Coupall and Buachaille Etive Mor in the background. Ken

Thanks Alan for starting this, and another pair of beautiful images from you and Ken.

I have been focused on water this past month and two weeks ago I hiked to Battle Creek Falls which is about 4 miles as the crow flies from my house. The hike starts at the base of the Wasatch in the town of Pleasant Groove and is a bit over 1/2 mile and maybe 300 feet elevation, so not hard at all.

This is from Zion NP, in the Narrows. I took this morning while hiking in it a bit. It’s just an iPhone shot as I can process these much faster while traveling...
