Hey Irfan,

Wow! You have some really nice work here. I am sure looking forward to your fall colors.

#1 is really special, it almost feels like a painting! I don't totally care for the framing on the right side with those mostly bare branches. While I think this image looks awesome, I think if you had the same shot where you moved just a couple of feet to avoid those branches this would go from awesome to amazing awesome... :)

#2 Is pretty cool with that sweeping stream. I really like that display of a variety of fall color. A very nice composition.

And this is a good reminder that I really should get to processing my fall color images!

Lovely work, indeed, Irfan!
Wonderful color and mood, especially in the 1st.
I get Jim's point about the right edge, but it is still, as he said, an awesome image!

Wow - that first one is an incredible color show. So is the second one but it suffers from being alongside the first one.

Love that first one, the second is also very good but for my taste, the water is over blurred.

Beautiful images, both of them! The first one is so calming and and I love the colour palette in the second one. I love the yellows with the dark greens and blacks.

Nice shots, I like how sharp the leaves are in the second, especially with the long exposure you used. I would like to see the top of the mountain, comp wise.

Thanks for comp: I see the the challenge :) . The fall in Wenatchee area PNW has so much beauty

Thanks for kind words Jim. The compositional challange I had was that there are branches on both sides. I had to make a choice which to avoid while still capturing a panoramic image. However I sure see and agree to your perspective.

Thanks all. Much appreciated. This is beautiful area and compositions in many directions from vista to macros. I have been going there for 6-7 years in a row (including my teaching workshops)

Hey Irfan,

If you are teaching or leading workshops, please be sure to get that information in our Workshop Forum, and then I can get those dates up on the Calendar.

thank you for the acknowledgement. BTW These are from Pacific North West (not east coast like mentioned in the feature post).
Whoops! I guess I have been dreaming of the east coast colors.... Actually the West Coast is better as it's for sure easier for me to get to at least.
