Spring in my front yard

Today's bushwhack was out to my front yard to see if I could capture some of the spring blooms. Inspired by many here who do a much better job.

It was really windy so I bumped the iso and use my 100-400 IS lens with a high shutter speed hand held.

Like them all Ben. The blossoms against the blue skies is a great way to show them. The tulips are well isolated. Nice work.

Very nice - I like the pear blossoms with the clear skies behind. The depth of the blue in your high altitude sky makes a really nice contrast to the blooms.

Hope tromping through the jungles for these wasn't exhaustive

These are really great Ben. I like those blossoms the best, that white and blue contrast is cool. But you also did good with the tulips.

Thanks Jameel, I waited for the blooms to get open and hoped for a blue sky. These are about 30 feet off the ground.

All very nice Ben.. I love this time of year I spend a lot of time just shooting the trees and plants at our house.. early morning with a nice cup of coffee close at hand
