The edit worked out quite well - the bottom of the frame doesn't feel as cramped now.

This is a location that is south of the real horseshoe bend and I might add is extremely difficult to get too. Serious 4WD rock crawling and a really difficult terrain to hike.

Content Aware fill can fail once in a while, but there are times when it utterly amazes me how it can rebuild a scene. This is one of those where it did just an awesome job.
