Thanks Alan, Roxborough Park doesn't get as many visitors as Red Rocks or Garden of the Gods, so it is a nice place for a leisure walk and taking photographs without the crowds! These always look like green fireworks in shots like this. Nicely framed.
Thanks Jim, the best way to get there is to take Hiwy 85 (Santa Fe) south out of Denver. There is a turn off to the park about 1/5 of the way to Castle Rock. It is a State Park with a lot of scenic walking trails through the rock formations.Wow! I hadn't heard of this place. I think I need to head down and check this out.
Great photo Larry!
Thanks for the comments Trent, appreciated.Nice shot of the plant and the area Larry. Certainly not a plant I would see in Saskatchewan!
Beautiful, Larry! The biggest flower in the foreground is like a living figure.. hmm.. such flowers do not grow under the Tatras.. very nice.Just south of Denver is Rocksborough Park, with similar rock formations to the ones in Red Rock Park just west of Denver. It is a great place to roam around and look at beautiful rock formations and native plants.
Thanks Peter for the nice comments, appreciated.Beautiful, Larry! The biggest flower in the foreground is like a living figure.. hmm.. such flowers do not grow under the Tatras.. very nice.
