Below is a list of Youtubers that I've been following for a while and I have learned a lot from. Perhaps a couple actually sell a product or service, but they still put out a lot of free teaching videos. I don't know any of them personally, nor have I chatted or talked with them. I'm simply offering you all a way to learn more.
I'd say I've learned the most from Phlearn, Yuri, and Nick. They've built my post processing foundation. Jimmy elevated my landscape PP techniques with his Luminosity Masking vids. I still have not purchased his plugin, but I probably will soon. Ian at Lonely Speck inspired my Milkyway work and has been the best resource for that.
I follow a vast array of other photog related Youtubers, but the list above are the ones that have the most Post Processing vids.
- YuriFineArt - Ton of videos on Lanscape processing using only Lightroom.
- LonelySpeck - Master of Milkyway processing
- MilkyWayMike - Another Milkyway master
- PhotosInColor - Mostly people processing but a lot of content with some non people processing mixed in
- Phlearn - Photoshop master with a ton of general post processing videos, people and non people. Probably the best free Photoshop educator on Youtube.
- FirstManPhotography - Landscape only work. A lot of in the field vlogging, but good mix of Post Processing vids too.
- NickPage - Good amount of vlogging in the field, but also a lot of MilkyWay, people, and landscape post processing.
- ProfessionalPhotographyTips - Again, a lot of field vlogging, but some good post processing mixed in.
- JimmyMcIntyre - Master of luminosity masks in Photoshop for landscape processing. He does sell a LM plugin, but he has a ton of free vids that show you how to use LMs without his plugin.
- GregBenz - Basically...same as Jimmy McIntyre
