These are a few from my recent trip that were considered just grab shots while hiking

This 1st one got my attention as the evergreen & deciduous trees seemed to be "in sync" in their growth

This next one was on the trail from near the Ahwahnee on the way to Mirror Lake. There were several of these stone lined/constructed paths on this hike

This last one I call a "Hoar frost bouquet" . These were every where along the meadows

Nice set Dan - I have always been a sucker for "path" shots so that second one grabs me right off. I love scenes like that. I like the frost closeup as well - that shows the crystalline structures well.

Hey Dan, your path shot is really cool looking, a great intimate scene you found. I like the symmetry in #1, but I would go to a pano crop to lose the rocks that are being lit up from the sun. Those bright areas are distracting since everything else is in shade.
