Ha ha.... You sure had me expecting a cow! 
What a very cool macro shot. I really need to dig out my old macro set up I made up about 30 years ago. I had bought an old bellows at the Camera Swapmeet, and then bought a screw on Nikon adapter to mount onto the threads, and then bought an old 50mm lens (I think) and assembled it. My memory is as dusty as the dust gathered on that set up.
It worked really well, but the problem was with that bellows I could get the DOF down to like 1/10,000th of an inch... or what felt like it... The DOF was so shallow it was really hard to use.
