Xpan-125

These are some of the gems I created sometime between 1994-1995 at Roosevelt Lake AZ in my brother in-laws boat whom we lost in Dec of 2021 right after we moved to Tucson. They're of my wife's youngest sister and my father in-law whom we lost last year.

I love the natural grain from the film in these images.

Nice portraits - the Xpan seems like it offers a bit more contrast and deeper blacks than the T-Max 100 captures you showed in the earlier thread. The Xpan appears to be better suited for portraits like this.

Totally agree, and it looks like the T-Max 100 was better suited for landscape.

I feel motivated to buy a Yashica Electro 35 for 35mm B&W film exclusively, and with Monument Camera in town I have easy access to film and a darkroom as well as a scanner.
Hmm

Love the look of both of these. Great portraits, especially of Amy. The grain is so cool, and despite the power of Photoshop, this kind of grain just can't be duplicated.
