I hope you are all safe and sound.
Regardless of the self Isolation this is the time of year that I normally shoot my favorite dogwood and new blooms around the yard.. However since we are Isolating and Im working on a project with my Leica Q2 here are a few from the project . I also added a few local weeping cherry in the park up the street.. everything created in camera via DOF+ selective focus + exposure= creative expression. I hope everyone is doing ok, I'm sure many of you have been touched by this in one way or another.. Stay Sane and Stay Safe things will get better soon.
All comments welcome and thanks for viewing regards,

Fun series with some interesting points of view for the blooms. #1 and #7 are my favorites in the collection.

Great series, Does your camera do all this automatically from a preselected list? I too like 1 and 7.

Ben..no that is a pre- set in my minds eye.. I play with the focus at a very shallow depth of field while looking though the view finder then start to play with exposure. With flowers I like to over expose shooting into the light and create isolation . This camera has a fixed 28 mm / 1.7 amazing lens + it’s a full frame 47 MP. So I shoot with a crop in mind to really focus in on what I was after. I do all of this handheld.. I love the size and weight of the camera.. beats the hell out of the normal kit I usually schlep around. :)

Very creative Dean! Thanks for helping many of us think outside of the box!

My favorites are #1, 3 and 5. Though all of them are very cool in their own way.

I would not have thought of doing this myself.
