Hey Don, I sure like how the fawn is peeking out of it's hiding spot in #1. I agree though that #2 is really nice with it standing like that.

As a suggestion, I think I would pull back on the yellow saturation just a little bit in both of them as the greens seem off just a tad.

I recognize the green being too green because it happens to me all of the time. :) it really dawned on me a year or two ago that I was doing that too. I have ended up going back to lots of my older photos and pulling back on the yellow in the green grasses.
