What a Difference a Day Makes

kI spent a couple of days last March in Rocky Mountain National Park. The weather can change rather quickly in the mountains as witness the images below. The first was taken on March 3rd and the second, at about the same time of day on March 4th. You just have to love Colorado in the spring time!

I used to see stuff like this regularly when I lived in Salt Lake City. We always joked about Springtime in the Rockies

Maybe your weather is similar to where I live. They say if you don't like the weather wait 10 mins.

Thanks fo rate comments Jim, appreciated! We were up there for 3 days and the first two were sunny and great. we had about 15 inches of snow over night the second day and the difference was remarkable, as you said like night and day!

Thanks for the Comments Trent, here we say if you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes. We are heading up the Estas Park and RMNP for 3 days the first weekend on January and hope for reasonable weather!

Not funny can be an understatement - some of the heaviest one day snowfalls (18"+) I ever saw in Utah were in late March and into mid April and it was very heavy wet snow.
