Wet Desert

For those of us that live in the Desert Southwest, a wet desert is wonderful for the senses. The smell, the clean look and the freshness of it..even the mud is such a welcome pleasure.

I sure like the wet look of this Darcy. All those Cholla is really cool. I do wish the bottom was sharper and in focus though. That's the only thing hurting this shot a bit.

The chain fruit cholla look downright fat with the amount of water they have stashed.
