Western Meadowlarks

I saw hundreds of Western Meadowlarks at Basque del Apache, New Mexico. These two allowed me walk down hill behind them, find the front light and click away.

It does look like you were being observed but quite nice that they stuck around for their portrait. I love the colors and details in their markings.
