Weekend anniversary trip to Chimny Rock St Park and Lake Lure NC

a Very Hazy day, but wonderful sites to capture non the less.
FYI, this area was where Last of the Mohicans and Dirty Dancing were filmed. Best part its only about 1 1/2 from my house.

This is also the location of much devastation from hurricane Helene. Hard to beleave the hurricane was so destructive this high in the nc mountains

Hardly looks like a place that was damaged by a hurricane. Interesting terrain and lush vegetation.
