This is a scene from Shepherd's Dell in the Columbia River Gorge from a fall visit number of years back. Neat little place to stop along the Historic Highway.

A nice little falls, hard to shoot as you're limited by the trail - a wall on one side and a sheer cliff on the other. You managed to find a sweet spot here and also a bit of color. Well done!

Thanks Michael - you are correct about limited access for views. I shot this from the Historic Highway bridge with my tripod legs fully extended but folded up so I could extend the camera out over the rail.

That's an impressive amount of water in this river. Your name for the scene seems appropriate.
