My falls for today is what I hope will be the last of the ridiculous panorama madness from using too long a lens for a close in shot. This is the upper portion of Wahkeena Falls as a telephoto panorama mosaic stitched from a 12 frame composition with 5 shot bursts for each frame so a 60 capture stitch/blend. Next time I will use a more suitable focal length with the Mavic 3 Pro.

To give a sense of scale with this image here is a 100% crop of the area around the footbridge near the bottom of the image above:

Pile on with your own waterfall imagery.

One of the many seasonal flows in the North Cascades. This view is not possible from the ground.
Best reason for owning a drone - the views you otherwise can't have win the deep woods. Looks like there was some serious flooding along that flow judging by the piles of logs.

That's pretty cool Alan! Such great detail you got.

Thanks Jim - this level of detail can be improved with a lot less work now :)
I bet.

I sure wish that the new mavic 3 Pro was in my budget, but I have my eye on a new scope for my Deep Space Astro, and also Nikon is tempting me a lot with the new Z8 camera that just came out.

Ka-ching ($$$$). Sounds like you need to win the lottery.

Another take on Wailing Widow. This is a detail shot taken from the top of the gorge with a longer lens. One of the advantages of an A7R4 is the 61Mp allowing cropping to produce an image that wasn't noticed at the time of taking. Ken
I love all of the little steps along the walls of this little gorge each making its own cascade within the falling water. Beautiful.
