Waterfall Wednesday 4/8/2026

Wednesday is a nice day for waterfalls so its time for another round of showing off images of falling water.

My falls for today are in the form of an older shot of Wahclella Falls in the Columbia River Gorge shot prior to the Eagle Creek Fire in 2017. The trail leading up to the falls got scorched down to bare rock during the fire and along with the trail up to Elowah Falls took years to rehabilitate before they were safe to use again.

Nice you had your camera ready when cruising past these falls. With a canyon that deep your view of these falls would be fleeting at best. Looks like tough access getting much closer.

I like this - I have shot over a thousand images at those falls so they are a bit overrepresented in my collection but this one is entirely unique from anything I have tried there.

Very nice - this looks like what we saw in September when we met up in the Paradise Inn area. I forgot how low the water flow levels were until you posted this.
