Waterfall Wednesday 4/22/2026

Another fine Wednesday so time for another round of waterfalls.

This week I am going with a small scene at Ruby Falls in Mt. Rainier National Park. This is along Paradise Creek just below the road leading from Paradise Inn down to Reflection Lakes. There were very low water levels in the creek last fall which made for some interesting little cascades instead of a giant firehose roaring over the top of the basalt like you would see in the springtime.

Do you know how tall this itinerant waterfall is? Looks rather tall given the trees visible just past the rim.

I’d guess around 20’ or so.
