April Fools and falling water - nice combination for the day.
My falls shot for today is an old archive find from a small unnamed intermittent drainage just to the east of Shepperd's Dell in the Columbia River Gorge. The water flow here is usually only present during the winter months. This was likely the only visit I will ever make for this view since it's along a narrow section of the Historic Highway with almost no room to stand or set up a tripod. I was lucky no box truck came around the corner while I was set up for the shot. The eagle Creek fire in 2017 saw to it there won't be a repeat visit as it stripped out all of the tree cover here and the small spot I used as a viewpoint collapsed down the steep embankment. This was taken back in 2003 with my then still quite new Canon D60.
