My falls this morning are the same ones as last week but in this case a wide angle view from out over the creek. From off to the left on the trail where I launched my drone from there is only a view down to the creek where I hovered for the shot and no views until you get up to the main viewpoint for Sweet Creek Falls at the back of this scene. You can hear the rushing water from the trail but there is no view of it and shoulder height blackberries infesting a steep drop-off to the creek. In the mid summer dry season you could probably hike right up the creek bed itself to get this same view but not once the fall rains begin.

This watefall is near the Hwy 140 entrance to Yosemite. Can't find the name !
But I stop there almost every time I visit. Sometimes can only be seen if you venture into the vegetation
Glad you ventured into the vegetation to capture this one Dan - pretty steep falls.

Another tiny waterfall from the North of Scotland. I was walking along a track when I heard rather than saw the falling water. A few minutes pushing through the undergrowth and I found this. Ken
Glad you were able to make your way through the undergrowth for these neat falls. Its frustrating when you can hear waterfalls that you can't get to :)

Before I read this, I thought Sweet Creek! I am glad I guessed right. Good one Alan.

Yeah - I am still looking the coastal mountains for another Sweet Creek type drainage but the only promising places I have seen from afar don't have any kind of trail access. The coastal mountains are heavily infested with blackberries so not conducive to bushwhacking hikes at all. There are a couple of waterfalls I have marked on maps but they are a bit isolated as falls instead of the continuous falling water for a couple of miles like Sweet Creek. I started to hit up one pair of falls (Kentucky Falls) in early November but that would have been around 60 miles round trip on gravel USFS roads from Beaver Creek Falls and I didn't have enough fuel (less than 1/4 tank) to do that plus another 30 miles back to Florence.

Hopefully better late than never. This one is from Knotts Berry Farm, and the water is falling so I hoped it would count. This was only 100 yards from where I had bbq ribs for lunch and thought about walking over there for Falling Water Wednesday. ;)

Looks nice - we wouldn't have known this wasn't in a wilderness area if you hadn't mentioned it :)
