Walk With Me - Through a Forest of Fall Colors!

This is Lake Maria State Park in Minnesota from a few days ago. A lot of forest areas are filled with underbrush that make it hard to walk through, but taking an unexpected detour into Lake Maria I found a couple of areas of forests in there where the underbrush was gone, and it was just carpeted in fall colors. Doing a video walking through a Fall Color Forest had been on my list of things I had hoped to capture, so I was really happy I decided to explore this State Park. I hadn't planned on it, I was on my way to another lake, but this State Park ended up being way better then the lake that I went to later.

What a neat forest, love it, and thanks for taking me along. I note that most of the forests here are on very steep ground and would be hard to walk even if there were no underbrush, and of course we have that too.

Thanks Ben! I am glad I got the chance, and just another case of serendipity on the trip.

can't believe how nice the colors were in the woods. no brown leaves, no partially green leaves. beautiful!
