Waiting for Spring

Been a long time since I participated here. That's not because of this forum, but because I was generally mostly offline ... call it computer-fatigue. As an IT professional, I sometimes need to get away from everything with a CPU :)

Here's a few from an area near my house where we (well, mostly my wife) walk the dogs. It's an abandoned open air iron ore mining area, converted to natural reserve.

Looks like a pleasant enough place to get out and walk. Just getting ready to explode with green.

I can understand the IT burnout quite well. The last 3 years of work for me were actually the hardest (with long days) and the notion of sitting at my computer to edit photos was almost repulsive. I dropped off of FM at the time. Retirement worked wonders for my photography hobby since I dropped IT work stone cold the day I left work and switched my favorite routers from Cisco to Festool :D
