Hey Pete,

That's a pretty nice midday shot. I think I would crop a bit off the bottom to lose that rock that is poking up into the scene just left of the middle. It seems to pull the eye away from wandering down the canyon.

Its almost like a well watered Grand Canyon - I like the view. Not certain the rock at the bottom bothers me so much - I still find my eyes wandering up the canyons.

I might also try and find a more vertical crop where you can emphasize the green canyon line as the lead of the composition taking you back to that nice light in the back canyon.

The portrait one is interesting. I'd love to see that one much bigger. I still like the first one with the stronger mist/clouds/rain back in the hills. That one feels like it has more depth to me.
