View of Krivan mountain from the frozen river Belá (white). In spring, strong water from the Tatras will change the flow of this smaller river.

Ben, thank you.Like
Yes Alan, sometimes the trough is almost empty of water (in the winter months) and in the spring I can't get to this place, everything around is flooded. That river bed looks like it gets a pretty heavy duty flow during the melt off season. Beautiful mountains.
Not surprising - that river bed looks well scoured.Yes Alan, sometimes the trough is almost empty of water (in the winter months) and in the spring I can't get to this place, everything around is flooded.
Thank you, Lain. I redid the picture. I also like the first alternative, but after cropping, my attention shifted to the mountains in the background. It's delicious.… Peter: Beautiful picture. I myself would seriously consider cutting out the bottom third of the riverbed and converting it to 16x9. In the picture as a whole, the high brightness of the lower part blows out the soft highlights and shading of the upper part of the picture.
Thank you AlisaBeautiful Landscape!
I think that the crop is better balanced. But if you wanted to emphasize the foreground, you might crop a bit of the sky instead. Thanks, Lain. I reworked the image. I also like the first alternative, but after cropping, my attention shifted to the mountains in the background. It's delicious.
Please how do others see it?

Thanks Alan. I cropped the photo a little lower than before and it looks a little better.I like your new crop and where you decided to make the cut. This does make the distant mountains more prominent.
