"Venice Elegance"
Visiting Venice, Italy is like going through a time portal, back to another era. February 2020 was a our first trip to Italy. The sights of the architecture, canals, gondolas, overwhelmed my senses! Then add to that mix the fact that we were there during the annual Carnival celebration. Carnival is when people visit Venice to dress up in old world costumes and masks. It made for an amazing experience! So much so that we plan to go back to Venice for Carnival 2022. My camera and I fell in love with the city. I told my wife and adult daughter (she was with us) that on this next visit I would like some considerable quality time to experience the city. I already put a deposit on an apartment for a three week stay in Venice. Yes, it is that amazing!
