Two Rainier Fall Foliage

Attached are 2 crops of the same image. One is a 16:9 and the other is 1:1. I like the broad landscape of the 16:9 but the 1:1 is better balanced. Interested in your thoughts of the two different compositions.

Wow, that is just beautiful color! I lean toward the first but would be happy with either.

Of the two I prefer the first image. I’d have included more of the mountain on the right side though.

The reds in the meadows above the Inn really popped from when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I kind of lean towards the first image with the wider view of the meadow.

The 1:1 is balanced and I like it. But I really like the first one and how it balances as well, and leads the eye from left to right.

I say both are winners.
