Trumpeter Swans & Cloudy Sun

I'd spent half a day at a bird reserve walking around looking with no luck. Almost back at the car these guys flew overhead. I barely had time to get my camera out of it's case and shoot a few.

Jim, thanks, but it wasn't great timing on my part, just luck in this case (although I did work fast when I heard 'em coming). Extra lucky that I had the camera set to P so it could handle the exposure, then I worked it in PS for this result.

Very nice result - the positioning of the swans relative to the sun really sets them off.
