And what a great introductory set of shots. These are what B&W is all about, real Black and real White.
My favorite is #5, such great detail there. And my 2nd favorite is #3, those gauges and dials on that panel are a sweet detail shot.

Is there a way to cross-post to other subforums?Cheers, Jim! Maybe I'm an old soul at heart because I've got a HUGE soft-spot for B&W. Just ask Ben - my de facto response to a lot of images is, "Well, have you tried mono yet?".
For #3 how do you feel about the vines and other OOF elements? I dig them myself as it seems to make the panel/dials a little less static and I don't find them too distracting, but I'm really curious as to what others think.
Thanks much, Leslie! Why don't you post some of your B&Ws over at the Critique subforum? Certain images/situations lend themselves better to mono conversions. I also *highly* recommend that you download the Google Nik Collection (https://www.google.com/nikcollection/) if only for Silver Efex Pro 2. The software is now free as Google isn't developing it further, but man, that is one killer conversion application! But it's not a requirement - all other editing software can achieve the some looks with some pushing and prodding.

Thanks Ben! I'll be bouncing back and forth as time permits, but I've always been a proponent of 'the more the merrier' when it comes to sites. More sharing, more perspectives, more growth.
I'll talk to the guys and get them to maybe poke a head in.
