Trona Pinnacle Blooms

It took me more than 9 hours to drive home yesterday from Southern California because of scenes like this at the Trona Pinnacles. Parts of the Mojave Desert have exploded with wildflowers and some people who've lived here a lot longer than I have told me they'd never seen flowers out here before.

Trona has always been very brown every time I've been there. It is amazing to see this kind of color there!

I have been to Trona a lot, and I have been in there in the springtime a lot, and it has really cool wildflowers, but I have never seen it look like this.

As I head back from capturing the Solar Eclipse in Texas, I just 30 mins ago wa checking the weather forecast in Trona as a possible spot to spend the night at later this week. So it was cool to see this from you.

Sounds good Michael that would be fun, though Friday is going to be too windy there.
