This shot of the Bay Bridge and the San Francisco skyline involved trespassing.
I parked the car on Treasure Island outside of the gate of the United States Coastguard. I then walked through the open gate, up the hill, through the brush and through a rusty, manmade cut in the chain-link fence. On this spot directly above the I-80 traffic, someone had previously placed a sheet of plywood, presumably to have a solid surface on which to place a camera tripod. I watched the sunset from this position, spending at least an hour watching the light change and listening to the drone of the traffic.
This was taken with a Pentax K-30. Don't remember which lens I used.
