Timeless Appeal

The developing of my old B&W 35mm film has really inspired me to delve more into the world without color. To the point that I am in the market for a Nikon F5 for B&W only. Until then I decided to revisit some older digital images using the modern tool we have available.

Created this image with my old D100 on a bike trip to Colorado Springs from Phoenix in the spring of 2006.

Really good work Sonny!

You have a talent for B&W so getting an old F5 would be an awesome way to go. What are they going for now adays?

Thank you guys! I havent been this excited about photography in several years as life kind of got in the way.

I was considering a Yashica Electro 35, as my last one was a perfect match for B&W film. However an F5 would accommodate my newer AF lens, and can be had on Ebay anywhere from around $300 to $1000 depending on condition and seem to all come from Japan. Some even come with the MF-28 data back, box and strap. When the F5 came out I couldn't afford one, but now I can! :)

Update: I just bought this from Ebay.
