A grouping of Tiger lilies with a lone pollinator - Prosser Meadows, Ca. 6-26-25
They can be quite amazing. These were in dark mid-day arbor. They can be hard to find.These are some cool lilies - I like all the spots. I just came back in from shooting my neighbor's day lilies and they had just about every color you could imagine but no true lilies like these.
Thank you. They grow above 6,000 ft. in wet, darker areas. They know how to hide!Nice job, Kurt. I’ve never seen these lillies at lower elevations. I’ve only seen them above 8000 feet or so in the Sierra.
