Hi everyone!

I've got some pics here from the coast of California from a trip to visit my sister and her family back in the summer.

C&C is welcome and thanks for viewing!

Great to see you back here Jeff. Neat set. I especially like 1, 3 5 and 8 if I counted them correctly.

Been meaning to stop by for a long time, Ben! I've missed swapping pics/stories with ya - hope you've been well!

Thanks for the picks - still beside myself that you're even LOOKING at mono pics. You've expanded your horizons, buddy!

Interesting application for IR. Not sure I have seen it used for tide pools and shoreline rocks before. Neat results.

An interesting set Jeff! #7 is my favorite, that in your face wave splash is just so awesome. I have had many of those in my day, and they are always fun and exciting and sometimes just a little wet... :)

#1 is the only one that I wish was in Color. Those star fish in your photo are to die for, they aren't really all that common here, so I would love to have their orange color on them shining out. But otherwise I think the IR is really effective here. #2 is probably my second favorite shot here.

Thanks Alan! This trip definitely was geared towards IR - I probably only took a handful of visible spectrum pics.

Thank you, Jim! I definitely had to wipe off the gear after that one.:D

Ahhh one of the few instances where I can't appease the color curious!! You can rest assured that the pale oranges and pinks did play nicely off the otherwise neutral greys and browns in the scene.
