Very nice series Alan. The “Oregon Creek meets the Pacific” is my favorite, a gorgeous image! I also favor the “Evening Fog Layer” as well. The Portland Japanese Garden also work well for the Task.

I like simple compositions. The usual problem is avoiding the clutter that often intrudes. Ken

Trent, these beautiful images you’ve shared are perfect for this week’s task—perfect! I particularly favor the Saskatoon ice image— my favorite. I also love the ice spicules image and ice forming on twigs image too—very nice! The grass in the “grass in winter” is beautifully transformed as well.

Doug, four beautiful images, each are perfect for this week’s task. The Ship Rock image is incredible—love the light, the angle, and the viewpoint—perfect! I also favor the single ponderosa pine captured in Zion—very nice! The two oak trees in the last images are also perfectly captured in your compositions—love the partial view of the oak in your last image, also very nicely composed!

Craig, thank you for sharing images that perfectly suit this task. “Planetary Pedestal” is my favorite (wow!) for its minimal composition, the cast shadow pointing to the moon above, and the blue/orange complementary colors. “Moonrise Over the Park” and “Days End and Desert Begins” captures are close favorites as well! I also love the untitled last image you shared—very, very nice composition. Please share the title you give this beautiful image—it definitely deserves one!
