My examples below:
Quail Creek State Park, UT
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, AZ

Excellent “postcards” Alan—some real beauties in your series! My favorites are Bryce (with snow) and Secret Beach with its very nice composition! Seeing each one would motivate a visit to these locations.I have some that might work for this theme.

The colorful canoes certainly add an appeal to those wishing to visit Moraine Lake—with further adventures while paddling. Great choice! And yes, the nursing calf is definitely a “cute” capture to be taken from the postcard rack for sharing with those back home. Another perfect choice, Kyle! Your last “postcard” is beautiful scenic that would tempt many tourists to select this “postcard” for as a shared memory for the sender and recipient. All perfect choices Kyle! Here are a few ideas. I do think that postcards tend to be more "daylight" than the kind of sunrise/sunset light that landscape photographers usually chase. People want to remember their experience. Anyway...
1) Moraine Lake with boats. This was after sunrise and I'd expect that the canoes would appeal to people wanting to remember their experiences.

2) National Bison Range - Montana. Going for cute here.

3) Mount Shasta - blue skies and an idyllic reflection...

Good series of “postcards” you’ve shared Larry! I like the Road to Gothic image as well as your Divide, Colorado autumn capture. My favorite is the Maroon Bells image—a postcard perfect capture! The Crowned Crane is definitely an attention-getting image—perfect for a humorous postcard too! Here are a few from me!

Jameel, the Mt. Rainier landscape is gorgeous, the centered composition anchors this snowy, majestic scene—even the clouds above are centered! My favorite “postcard” I think! Of course, the Maroon Bells image is another beautiful landscape captured—very, very nice! The accompanying clouds in the Grand Canyon sunset create a memorable image, another perfect “postcard.”Very interesting task today John. Love the images so far. A couple from me.

Anyone would love to open their mailbox and find one of these beautiful “postcards.” Doug, you’ve shared some picture-perfect images and would make the recipient “wish they were there.” Among my favorites are the Jasper National Park, Arches National Park, and the Death Valley National Park images. However the Banff National Park image is my overall favorite for its beautiful colors and great depth of field composition—very, very nice! Here are some of mine, John.
