Three Sisters

Here's a scene from the Bow River in Canmore looking toward the Three Sisters. There was a nice bend in the river a little further upstream that could have made a nice foreground, but a thin layer of ice had formed over the water that made it look a little too messy for me. I liked the cleaner reflection at this spot, with just a little ice in the corner. Now if only the sunset had truly gone off...

Any thoughts are welcome.

You still have some nice hints of color over on the left side including in the reflections. I like the bits of ice coverage and the breaks.

This has a very nice early morning feel about it. I like the reflection, the coloring of the clouds and of course the three sisters.

I agree. Canmore is often by-passed but it makes a great base for exploring this great area. Much less touristified than Banff. Nice shot of the Sisters, Kyle. You get some nice vantage points from high up in the town.
