There isn't many people here, you should make a trip to the Badlands sometime.

This is at the Doors/Window view area. I was parked there all night with my Deep Space Astro gear setup and 2 cameras setup to capture the Milky Way. This spot here is maybe 10 feet off of a boardwalk trail. It's maybe 100 yards from the parking lot.

Thanks Monika! I hadn't thought about that, but you are right there is a comparison between the two places. The differences would be that Skyline is really grand and majestic with 100's of feet of difference with drastic drop offs. Here, the drop offs are 3 to 6 feet.
This is an area I have stopped and shot at before, but mainly don't spend much time there as it's probably the busiest viewpoint in all of the Badlands. I only ended up choosing it because I could get some hill/peaks to the south for Milky Way images while at the same time being close to the parking lot so that I could have all of my Deep Space Astro gear set up next to my 4Runner.
